I am a writer (of fiction) and editor (of financial news) currently living in the capital of Scandinavia, Stockholm. For the past few years I’ve been working on a financial thriller – Crooked Island – based loosely on my experiences at an investment bank in Hong Kong.
At the same time, I turned my grandfather’s journal from WW II into a novel, and this true story was published by Legend Press in the summer of 2009.”The Fighting Civilians” has received favourable reviews from The International Journal of Maritime History, The Liverpool Nautical Research Society, and Sea Breezes – to name just a few.
In terms of Front List, I hope to centre my reviews around popular Scandinavian fiction that’s recently been translated into English – and who knows, we might uncover the next Stieg Larsson!
The Fighting Civilians (228 pages, Legend Press/New Generation, 2009) – Available on Amazon
